THIS is me with the Miyata 110 Road Bike, though you'd have a hard time recognizing it from all the parts I've upgraded. This shot was taken in 2005 in Letchworth State Park in New York. If you want beautiful hills to ride through, this is one great place to go. I have my Tour de Cure jersey on from a couple of years ago. I have been riding in the tour since around 1997, or whenever it was that they first had the event in Rochester. I also ride a home-brew fixed gear bike for commuting, though since they have been running the Tour through the hills of the Finger Lakes region of New York, I haven't been riding it as much. And then... there is the Recumbent! This bike involves some serious sillyness, though not nearly so bad as this one - the Scooby bike! (Back to home page). Last Modified: May 23, 2005 |
